The Program
Sports Specific Training
We here at Natural Sports pride ourselves on our sports specific training. We take student athelets and train them according to their sport. We incorporate sport specific training techniques that will help the athlete become stronger and faster for their sport. The student athletes are trained by professional athletes and qualified fitness experts. We welcome middle school, high school, and college athletes from ages 8 to 18. Our focus is to build speed, agility, and quickness through our conditioning program and strength and endurance through our weight training program.
Technique and Form in Weight Training
Athletes will learn proper breathing and alignment of movements. They will also learn how to focus on individual muscles and how to properly contract those muscles to get full development. Correct form and technique will lay the groundwork for taking an athlete to their full potential.
Functional Training for Athletes
Funtional training integrates the skeletal muscles and nervous system to work together, smarter and more efficiently. A wide variety of tools are used to challenge and train the body's ability to adapt to ever changing environments that corresponds to the high intensity atmosphere of competitive sports. This type of training encompasses the development and conditioning of the core/trunk muscles, superior balance, stabiliztion, training of the nervous system and joint integrity improvement.
Stretching
Stretching is vital for an athlete. It increases flexibility and strengthens muscles, improving your body's performance. Stretching increases blood flow, which in turn improves energy levels. It also helps prevent injuries and aids in the recoery from existing injuries. We will train athletes on proper stretching techniques and incorporate it as part of their daily routines.
Conditioning
Cardiovascular shape is extremely important to an athlete's success. Somatic Sport Trainers will get an athlete in terrific shape through different cardiovascular machines and programs. After our program, your athlete will be able to exceed their past achievements in any physical test.
Mental Focus
Mental focus is what will set our athletes apart from the rest. our trainers will teach you how to achieve a higher level of mind/body connection. Mental motivation, focus and concentration will be taught to each athlete by Alan Jaeger. Alan is the founder of Jaeger Sports and is the author of "Getting Focused, Staying Focused."
Strength
Stregth increases are something every athlete can be pleased with but are often achieved with the loss of flexibility. We will show you strength gains while improving your flexibility. Power movements will be taught by skilled instructors focusing on strict form. The goal is to improve lean muscle strength and to avoid injuries.
Nutrition
Nutrition is one of our specialties. Natural Sports will give your son/daughter the dietary edge that most athletes miss. We will educate them on how their bodies work and how the foods they eat will affect their level of performance. This day and age there are incredible pressures for athletes to do unhealthy things to excel. Through one on one counseling with our Certified Nutritionist, your athlete will learn that they can achieve high levels of ability naturally. With proper focus, discipline, work ethics, and education, amazing gains can be made. We have worked with and helped many High Schools, Collegiate and Professional athletes.
